Navrattan Anchor Grout

Navrattan is a proprietary blend of powder with rapid setting properties based on Geopolymer technology used for anchoring/ grouting purposes. The expanding characteristics of Navrattan form a tight grip on both fixture and the surrounding concrete. It is a single component powder that is water activated.

Unique Feature & Benefits

  • No priming and curing required.
  • Quick setting and high early compressive strength.
  • 100% waterproof.
  • Expands to form a tight grip.
  • Nonshrink, non-metallic, non-corrosive.
  • Forms a tenacious bond with the host material.
  • Eco-friendly (Does not contain any type of cement or resin).
  • Reducing equipment installation lead time significantly.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The concrete or masonry to receive the anchorage must be sound, free of dirt, oil, grease, and other contaminants and capable of supporting the fixtures.

Navrattan is ideally suited for:

  • Anchoring rails, bolts, ties, dowels, reinforcing steel, threaded rods, signposts, parking meters, street signs, ornamental steelwork into concrete or any other hardened material except plastics.
  • Setting appliances, machinery, processing equipment, and conveyors.
  • Interior or exterior applications, freeze-thaw and wet environments since it is non-corrosive, non-rusting and completely waterproof.

Mixing guidelines (at 30 degrees C):

Use about 125 ml of water for 1 kg of powder. For mixing, use a mixer blade turning @ 500 to 800 rpm. Initially, the mixture may appear very dry. Keep mixing for about 3 minutes, and the binder will slowly dissolve, and pourable slurry will be formed. At this point, pour the mix in the application area, remember to wash off all the equipment immediately after.
