Navrattan Superset Mortar

Navrattan Superset Mortar is an environment-friendly proprietary blend of powders based on advanced Geopolymer technology that is exceptionally versatile, cementitious, rapid setting, curing free, semi leveling structural mortar for quick construction and repair needs. It is a single component powder activated by adding just water at the site.

Navrattan Superset Mortar differs from the traditional Geopolymer from the perspective of setting and strength gain at room temperature itself against the strength gain of conventional Geopolymers at elevated temperatures.

APPLICATION AND USAGE OF NAVRATTAN SUPERSET MORTAR:

  • The product is ideal for the repair of bridges, highways, decks, runways, parking lots, industrial floors, etc.
  • Instant concreting needs where time is crucial like in the area of equipment installation, Precast panel installations, and other emergency construction needs.
  • Architectural binder for making very thin section castings/ castings with excellent details can be de-molded in hours and no curing is required, thereby, improving daily production levels.
  • Advanced binder for manufacturing composite blocks or lightweight blocks or tiles by binding cellulose/ sawdust/ Polystyrene beads/ insulation materials/ industrial wastes constructions where water impermeability is of prime importance.
  • Adverse condition concreting needs.
  • Elevated temperature concreting in the area of Foundries, Steel Plant, Satellite launch pad, non-ferrous refractory applications as spray-on refractory coating or liner, and as a repair material.

GUIDELINES TO BE FOLLOWED FOR BEST RESULTS:

  • For every 5 kg of material use about 550 ml of water.
  • Mix the slurry until a homogeneous mixture of smooth, creamy, and trowelable consistency is obtained.
  • If the need be, extend the mix at this point with aggregates at a ratio of 1:0.5 by weight.
  • Mix the slurry to achieve the perfect consistency and apply the mixture in the repair area.
  • Upon initial set, a broom finish can be applied and upon final set, the material can be saw cut, drilled, or polished.
  • Remember to wash off all the equipment after use.
  • Do not increase the water content more than specified as it might affect the final results.
  • Navrattan Superset Mortar has a shelf life of 12 months if stored in a clean and dry place and under a shade.
